CM Himanta Biswa Sarma unveils plans for pet care hospitals, veterinary medical facilities in Assam
Digital Desk: Taking a major step to support pet care, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that three specialised pet care hospitals and five veterinary medical facilities will be established in Assam to support animal healthcare.
CM Himanta wrote on his official X Twitter, ''Specialised care for our furry pets. The government of Assam has launched a comprehensive plan to build three pet care centres that will be operational by the end of 2025.

Govt of Assam has taken up a comprehensive plan to develop 3 Pet Care Hospitals which will be operational by the end of 2025.

He also stated that five more veterinary hospitals will be established throughout the state to support animal treatment.
As mentioned, the specialized pet care hospitals will be established in Guwahati, Bokakhat, and Dibrugarh, while multi-care veterinary hospitals will open in Kamrup, Golaghat, Lakhimpur, Tinsukia, and Sivasagar.
