Delhi Double Murder case: Mother and teen son throats slit by domestic help for 'yelling'

 

Digital Desk: In a tragic turn of events, a woman and her kid were allegedly murdered by domestic staff at their Delhi home last evening. The housekeeper allegedly cut their neck in wrath after being admonished by his boss, Ruchika Sewani, and fled the house in Delhi's Lajpat Nagar.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Ruchika's husband, Kuldeep Sewani, returned from work and noticed the door shut. Despite several calls to his wife and 14-year-old son, Krish, no reaction was received. Kuldeep later discovered bloodstains near the gate and on the staircase. When he saw the scenario, he quickly called the Police Control Room (PCR) and reported that his wife and son missing.

A startling scene was discovered after the arrival of the cops; after being forced to open the door, Ruchika, with blood gathered around her head, was lying on the floor beside the bed.

Krish (Ruchika and Kuldeep's son), a class 10 student, was discovered dead on the restroom floor.

Together with her husband, Ruchika Sewani used to own a clothing store in Lajpat Nagar market.

Mukesh, who used to assist the Sewanis at the shop and work as a driver, has been arrested by the police for the double murder. After she reprimanded him, Mukesh, who was attempting to escape the city, allegedly admitted to killing Ruchika Sewani and her baby. The cause of the murder is being looked into by the police.

Mukesh, aged 24 hails from Bihar and resides near his employer's house in Delhi's Amar Colony.

Forensic teams are helping to gather evidence, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. The sequence of events is also being glued together by reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
