Gossip Girl actor Michelle Trachtenberg passes away at 39
Digital Desk: Popular actor Michelle Trachtenberg has died at the age of 39. She was well known for her roles in "Gossip Girl" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
According to the New York City Police Department, she was set up unconscious and unresponsive at her Manhattan residence.
Variety reported that she had lately experienced a liver transplant. Still, the factual cause of death has not been determined, and the NYPD has ruled out any criminal involvement.
According to an NYPD statement, officers responded to a 911 call shortly after 8 a.m., and emergency care workers pronounced her dead on the scene.
Trachtenberg was born in New York on October 11, 1985, and began her amusement career at an early age. According to' Variety', she was just three years old when she appeared in announcements, and she ultimately got her first television design, the Nickelodeon sitcom' The Adventures of Pete & Pete', which launched in the mid-1990s.
She acted as Dawn Summers in the teen drama' Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.
Her alternate successful bid was 'Gossip Girl', which ran from 2007 until 2012. She played Georgina Sparks in the hit TV show.
Away from these successful shows, she has starred in flicks similar to 2004's' Eurotrip', a teen comedy, and 2005's' Ice Princess', a fairly wholesome picture about a cerebral high schooler who enjoys figure skating, according to Variety.
She was also part of the 2009 American teen fantasy comedy film '17 Again' which starred Zac Efron, Leslie Mann and Thomas Lennon, with Melora Hardin, Sterling Knight, and Matthew Perry in supporting roles.
