Digital Desk: An Indian student, age 21, lost her life in Canada after becoming entangled in a firefight between two factions. During a shooting incident involving two automobiles, Hamilton Police reported that Harsimrat Randhawa was waiting at a bus stop when she was hit by a stray bullet.

Randhawa was en route to her workplace when the incident occurred. She was a student at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. In the last four months, she has become the fourth Indian to pass away across Canada.

According to the Indian Consulate General in Toronto, Randhawa was "fatally struck" by a stray bullet while she was an innocent spectator.

Hamilton Police stated that the gunshot occurred around Upper James and South Bend Road streets. Randhawa was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest by authorities. She was transported to a neighboring hospital but was declared dead.

CCTV footage from the scene captured a passenger in a black automobile opening fire on the passengers of a white sedan. After the bullets were fired, the vehicles left the site.
