J&K Chatroo Encounter: 3 Pak terrorists killed; Jaish commander Saifullah among one of them

Digital Desk: The army reported on Saturday that it has killed two terrorists in an ongoing operation in the snow-bound Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The previous day, one terrorist was eliminated.

According to official sources, Saifullah, a prominent commander of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) group, was among the terrorists killed on Saturday. Saifullah had been active in the Chenab valley area for the previous 12 months.

When security forces made contact with terrorists during the operations, which were initiated on Wednesday after a brief confrontation, one ultra was killed Friday morning. According to the officials, the operations are still ongoing.

They stated that since Wednesday, a different operation has been going on in the Udhampur district's Basantgarh and Ramnagar areas to find a gang of three further terrorists.
