ICC ODI World Cup: List for Women's playout and venue revealed with 4 matches and one semifinal to be staged in Guwahati
Digital Desk: The International Cricket Council (ICC) enlisted the full itinerary for the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup. The game will begin on September 30, 2025, with host country India versus Sri Lanka in the first match in Bengaluru.
Matches will be played in five cities throughout the two countries, including Bengaluru, Vizag, Indore, Guwahati, and Colombo.
Matches to be held in Guwahati-
ENG vs BAN on 7th October, 2025
ENG vs SL on 11th October
IND vs NZ on 23rd October
ENG vs NZ on 28th October
One semi-final would be hosted in Bengaluru, while the other would be contested in Colombo or Guwahati. The final is slated for November 2 in Bengaluru or Colombo.
The 2019 edition will be the 13th since the competition began in 1973.
The tournament will feature eight teams competing in a single round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
Teams will also compete in two warm-up matches, beginning on September 24.
The ICC revealed the itinerary for the eight-team tournament on Monday, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2.
