Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Argentina on Friday evening (local time) for a two-day visit, marking India's first prime ministerial-level bilateral visit to Argentina in 57 years.
PM Modi had earlier traveled to the country in 2018 to attend the G20 Summit.

He received a ceremonial greeting upon landing at Ezeiza International Airport.
PM Modi also took to his post on X, stating, "Landed in Buenos Aires for a bilateral visit aimed at strengthening relations with Argentina."

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Modi will hold extensive talks with President Javier Milei to strengthen the India-Argentina collaboration in important areas such as defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, commerce, and investment.
"The bilateral visit of the prime minister will further deepen the multifaceted strategic partnership between India and Argentina," according to a press release.
In his departing statement, the prime minister stated that Argentina is a key economic partner in Latin America and an important ally in the G20, and that he looked forward to speaking with President Javier Milei, whom he had met last year.
