Digital Desk: Starting on Wednesday, July 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to five countries to attend the BRICS Summit in Brazil and deepen India's connections with a number of important Global South countries.
This will be Prime Minister Modi's longest diplomatic visit in ten years. Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia are all on the PM's eight-day, two-continent tour, which ends on July 9.
In addition to Brazil, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has announced that Modi will travel to Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, and Namibia.
Prime Minister Modi will be on his second five-nation tour. His most recent international travel took him to the United States, Mexico, Switzerland, Afghanistan, and Qatar all at once in 2016.
