Rajasthan Royals Invite Fans to Design 2026 Pink Promise Jersey in HunaRR Manch Season 2
Digital Desk: The 2026 IPL season mania is real as supporters are eager for their chosen franchise to take to the field. Against this backdrop, the Rajasthan Royals are revolutionizing fandom by transforming supporters into collaborators. Through a growing open-sourcing attitude, the Royals are encouraging supporters to impact the team's path in music, match strategy, and now design by releasing their most famous on-field emblem of purpose: the annual Pink Promise Match jersey.
Design students, young artists, and graphic designers from all around India are invited to submit ideas for the 2026 Pink Promise Jersey as part of HunaRR Manch Season 2. Fans will get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness their invention come to life under IPL lights as the winning design becomes the official on-field shirt worn for the Pink Promise Match.
The campaign got its start in 2025 with HunaRR Manch Season 1 (Music Edition), which invited more than thirty aspiring artists from all around Rajasthan to play their unique songs during home games for the Rajasthan Royals. Throughout the season, a few artists started games; some of them went on to organize their own ticketed events, appear on platforms like India's Got Talent, and establish independent performing careers.
The Rajasthan Royals implemented a "fans-in-the-room" approach by incorporating data-analytic fans into discussions about auction strategy during the SupeRR SelectoRR Hackathon. At the IPL auction, three selected fans had the opportunity to meet with Head Coach Kumar Sangakkara, sharing their insights in a rare instance where supporters engaged intimately with team decision-making.
This innovative method aims to transform fan enthusiasm into active involvement, allowing supporters not just to follow the team's journey but to actively participate in shaping it through the integration of sport, art, entertainment, and purpose.
