Shubman Gill Ends Suspense On Jasprit Bumrah's Availability for IND vs ENG 2nd Test Match: Read Here

Digital Desk: Shubham Gill, Indian cricket team captain has ended the suspense over Jasprit Bumrah's availability, confirming that the star pacer will be playing in the 2nd test match starting in Birmingham on Wednesday.

Following the end of the series opener, head coach Gautam Gambhir stated that the management would not reconsider Bumrah's three-match contract. Fans and former cricketers suggested using Bumrah in all five Tests, but Gambhir quickly refused, claiming they were more worried about his work pressure. Gill has stated that the final combination would be decided after the final practice session.

Earlier, India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate addressed Bumrah's concerns, stating that he is "available" but that management is yet to decide whether to send him to the field or not.

Gill informed the reporters during the pre-match press conference on Tuesday that “Bumrah is surely available. We have to look into this workload management. We have to look into the final combination today at the nets.''

With Bumrah leading the pace attack, India's bowling unit looks charged up again, and the 2nd Test match just got a whole lot more exciting.
