Deepak Yadav admitted to the crime during the preliminary investigation. He informed the police that Radhika had turned down his repeated requests to close the academy. He also acknowledged that he had been profoundly impacted by the constant taunts about living off his daughter's income from the residents of his Wazirabad village.
The hospital called the police to report that a woman who had been shot had been brought in dead. Officers found that Radhika's father was the one who killed her.
Deepak Yadav has been arrested and the revolver used in the crime has been seized.
