Ajay Kumar Bhalla to be sworn in as Nagaland Governor

Digital Desk: On August 25, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, who is currently serving as the governor of Manipur, will take the oath of office as the new governor of Nagaland.
Following the death of Governor La Ganesan, Bhalla has been entrusted with additional responsibilities for Nagaland.

Governor La Ganesan, a prominent BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, passed away at a hospital in Chennai on August 15.

Throughout his political career, he served as the governor of Manipur, West Bengal, and Nagaland, and his career came to an end with his passing.

The swearing-in ceremony is set to take place at Raj Bhavan in Kohima.

Nagaland's Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, welcomed the new governor and expressed confidence in Bhalla's leadership skills.
