Tripura Assembly Session scheduled for September 19; Agenda under consideration

Digital Desk: The Tripura Legislative Assembly's Monsoon Session is slated to begin on September 19, though the duration has yet to be determined. The decision to summon the Session was made at a recent cabinet meeting, and a formal notification will be issued immediately when the Governor approves it.

Officials have declared that the Assembly session, which is held every six months, will include a substantial statement about dearness allowance and relief for State Government employees.

According to Assembly sources, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) with representatives from all parties, with the majority coming from the ruling party, would be held soon to conclude legislative business.

The 16th Finance Commission's deadline for financial declarations is drawing near, and the Assembly Session is coming to an end. Legislative business and employee welfare initiatives are anticipated to be a major focus of the next session.
