Raja Raghuvanshi Murder Case: Accused Shillom James sent to 14 days of judicial custody

Digital Desk: In connection with the murder of Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, who was killed in Meghalaya’s Sohra by his wife during their honeymoon, the Shillong court sent the accused, Shilome James, to 14-day judicial custody.

Following the conclusion of their initial 6-day police remand, two additional accused individuals, watchman Balveer Ahirwar and builder Lokendra Tomar, were placed under 7 days of judicial detention.

A CCTV DVR was taken from Shilom James' Indore home a few days prior by a Shillong police squad as part of the murder investigation.

On June 21, Shilom Jame, a real estate broker, was taken into custody after allegedly renting out an apartment to the defendant, Sonam.

Family members of Raja Raghuvansh stated that they would file an appeal for the accused's Narco test before the Meghalaya High Court.

As requested by the Shillong SIT, Raja Raghuvanshi's brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, arrived at the Indore Crime Branch police station to be questioned in relation to the case.
