Rajdhani Express to connect Aizawl with Delhi

Digital Desk: Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma announced that the state will soon be connected to the national capital, Delhi, by the Rajdhani Express. This significant development marks a major milestone in Mizoram's railway connectivity, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the state.

The Central Government has approved the introduction of the Rajdhani Express, linking Aizawl to Delhi.

The Chief Minister has urged the Centre to establish direct rail links between Aizawl, Delhi, Kolkata, and Agartala (Tripura).

The new rail service is expected to significantly improve accessibility, reduce travel time, and enhance economic integration with major metropolitan cities.
