Cotton University students stage hunger strike

Digital Desk: A group of students from Cotton University staged a protest and hunger strike at the administrative building, demanding immediate action from the university authorities on several key issues.

The students, who gathered at the residence of martyr Ranjit Borpujari, are seeking designated classrooms for higher secondary education, prompt opening of newly constructed hostels and increased seating arrangements in the library, and an end to negligence in the examination department.

The protesters have made it clear that the hunger strike will continue until they receive written assurance from the university authorities that their demands will be met.
