Transparent hiring process assures Assam CM, distributes offer letters to 564 CCE 2023 applicants
Digital Desk: On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma underlined his government's promise to offer over 1.5 lakh government jobs by handing out appointment letters to 564 successful candidates of the Combined Competitive Exam (CCE 2023) across several departments.
The appointment distribution event, conducted at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, demonstrated the government's commitment to a fair and transparent recruitment procedure.
Addressing the audience, CM Sarma stressed that Assam's employment model has established a standard that is now being followed by other states.
Free, Fair, Transparent- our mantra of providing Govt jobs has so far resulted in over 1.3 lakh candidates securing a job with the Govt of Assam with paying a single paise in bribe.

CM Sarma emphasized the integrity of the selection process, claiming that none of the appointed persons obtained their posts through political influence or bribes.
"We created an excellent governance system. None of the chosen candidates comes from a minister's family, nor have they paid bribes for their positions. Their success is solely due to merit and hard work," Sarma remarked
He went on to discuss the government's continued efforts to create an unbiased recruiting system, stating that in addition to providing transparent examinations, steps are being made to prevent any possibility of malpractice.
This current initiative comes after Sarma's recent appointment campaign on Saturday, when he handed out appointment letters to 4,529 contractual teachers for secondary schools and 58 assistant professors for colleges throughout the state.
